On May 10, 2024, key representatives from Mainline Flight Service Co., Ltd., Shanghai Civil Aviation East China Air Traffic Control Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Civil Aviation New Era Airport Design and Research Institute visited the Lingang Science and Technology City together. Shenhan Yang, Director of the Planning Department of the Science and Technology City, warmly introduced the planning of the Orange River Port project, providing the visiting team with a comprehensive understanding of the entire project.

Hui Sun, the CEO of Mainline, elaborated on the matters concerning the Lingang Low-Altitude Economic Corridor, and conducted in-depth discussions regarding the Orange River Port project. He fully affirmed its benchmark demonstration effect in the region and its positive role in driving related industries. Sean Liu, the Product Director of Mainline, further supplemented with experimental cases from overseas. Mr.Bing Liu and Mr. Yunhe Zhang, from Shanghai Civil Aviation East China Air Traffic Control Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., introduced the surrounding airspace situations and proposed several constructive suggestions for airspace design. Dr. Xianyi Wang, from Shanghai Civil Aviation New Era Airport Design and Research Institute, also provided detailed explanations on ground design and supporting facilities. 

All parties will delve deeper into the designs based on the outcomes of this meeting, contribute ideas and efforts to the planning of the Orange River Port, and further demonstrate the extension of low-altitude economic industries.
