
On April 25th, Deputy Director, Yanfeng Chen, of the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission led a research team to visit Mainline, and conducted discussions with relevant company officials on the feasibility and importance of creating eVTOL low-altitude economic application scenarios in the Lingang New Area.
The research team visited Shanghai Longhua Airport and the East China General Aviation Service Center, and then convened a symposium at the company.
During the meeting, Hui Sun, the CEO of Mainline introduced basic operation of the company to the attendees. Combining the characteristics of global and domestic low-altitude economic industry development, he elaborated on the company's exploration and attempts in the field of low-altitude flight services in recent years, as well as its future plans. Sun analyzed the importance and construction ideas of establishing a low-altitude economic corridor in the Lingang New Area.
The research team attentively listened to the presentation of relevant information and engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the challenges in various aspects of the low-altitude economic field, such as the layout of the related industry chain, technological maturity, operational management models, and the formulation of standards and regulations.
Finally, Deputy Director, Yanfeng Chen, fully affirmed the achievements of the company and pointed out that the low-altitude economy, as an emerging and future industry, has vast development prospects and tremendous market potential. He suggested the company to make full use of its existing resources and technological advantages, to take the lead in promoting the inaugural flight of aerial displays, improving backend data analysis and management, and conducting commercial validation of low-altitude economic corridors. This proactive approach would contribute more to the high-quality development of the low-altitude economic industry in Shanghai.
